Mansi Beauty NZ - Terms, Policies & Guarantees
Permanent Makeup (Lip Blush & Microblading)
- Every client must complete and sign a consent and medical history form before treatment begins.
- Clients with certain medical conditions (pregnancy, breastfeeding, active skin infections, blood disorders, uncontrolled diabetes) are not eligible.
- A patch test may be recommended for clients with sensitive skin or allergies.
- Results develop over 6-8 weeks. Colour appears darker initially and lightens during healing.
- A touch-up appointment is required 4-8 weeks after initial treatment (not included unless specified).
- Results vary depending on skin type, age, lifestyle, and aftercare. Final results cannot be guaranteed.
- Detailed aftercare instructions must be followed. Failure to follow aftercare affects results.
- Permanent makeup typically lasts 2-3 years, with periodic refresh sessions required.
Lash & Brow Services (Extensions, Lash Lift, Brow Lamination)
- Clients must complete a consent form disclosing allergies, eye sensitivities, or medical conditions.
- Full aftercare instructions are provided and must be followed.
- Results are 50% quality of work and 50% client aftercare.
- Losing 3-4 lash extensions per day is natural. Significant shedding within 72 hours qualifies for free touch-up/repair.
- Any known allergies must be disclosed. High sensitivity may require a patch test.
- Aftercare restrictions apply: avoid oil-based products, steam, saunas, and rubbing eyes for extensions. Avoid water and makeup for 24 hours for lifts/lamination.
- We guarantee safe, high-quality products and strict hygiene, but cannot guarantee longevity if aftercare is not followed.
Makeup & Bridal Makeup Terms
1. Booking & Payment
- A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure bridal makeup services.
- Date is confirmed only after deposit is paid and proof of payment is sent.
- Remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the event.
2. Cancellation & No-Show
- Cancellations less than 48 hours before appointment or no-shows result in 100% loss of paid amount.
- Amount cannot be transferred to another date.
3. Artist Availability & Replacement
- In unexpected situations, a professional replacement artist will provide the service.
- If not satisfied with replacement, a full refund will be issued.
4. Travel & Location Fees
- For bookings in Auckland, a minimum travel fee of $30 applies.
- Additional costs (parking, ferry/flight tickets, taxis) for remote locations are client's responsibility.
- Please provide exact address when booking for accurate travel fee calculation.
5. Non-Bridal Makeup Bookings
For on-location non-bridal makeup services, a minimum booking of two clients is required. Single clients can attend at our studio.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Arrive with clean, makeup-free face; moisturizers allowed but without SPF.
- Inform Mansi of skin sensitivities or allergies. Consult doctor before booking if needed.
- Provide safe, clean space with sufficient natural light, large table, and tall chair or bar stool.
7. Trial Makeup
Trial session is highly recommended. If unable to attend, understand that results on event day may not exactly match expectations due to time limitations.
8. Timing & Punctuality
- Arriving on time is essential; delays may affect service quality and other clients' schedules.
- Soft/Everyday makeup: approximately 90 minutes.
- Full Glam or bridal makeup: 90-120 minutes.
